Night Shooting with Lake Hawea Hunting Safaris
Night shooting can be worked in with your big game hunting trip to New Zealand, or is simply a good nights shooting fun if you are in the Wanaka area.
Climb onboard our 4x4 vehicle and step inside our secure shooting rig. We’ll drive the tracks and paddocks of a high country station in search of rabbits, hares possums and other small game/pests/varmints. Unlimited kills.
Shooting is with .22 bolt action rifle, pests are spotted at night time with a spotlight (lamp). Shoots are 2-3 hrs
Included in Night Hunting:
Hotel pick up & return, 1 professional hunter, Shooting vehicle, 22 rifle, 200 rounds ammunition.
Notes:
- No firearms licence required as a licensed professional hunter is always in control of the firearm. If you wish to use your own rifle a NZ firearms licence or an NZ visitors firearms licence is needed.
- Bring warm clothing with you.
- For the trophy hunter a possum makes a great full mount sitting on a branch in a top corner of you trophy room.
